Strawberry Picking Bonanza

These two pictures are from the blog Heartland, "Bringing you the best of the Breadbasket". You'll have to visit Diana at her blog to read about all the yummy stuff she made with her 8 lbs of freshly picked strawberries. During the last week of strawberry season she headed to Berry Hill Farm in Wisconsin. Just to name a few there were "strawberry dumplings, strawberry mojitos, strawberry waffles, strawberry jelly/preserves, strawberry mint iced tea".

Diana at Heartland lives in the Midwest of the US and their strawberry season is opposite of ours so reading about all the fun with the she had with the strawberries just makes me look forward to ours even more.
